i know nothing about them so cant really answer other than when i first saw it i thought some kid had stencilled it like you say and it could be absolutley anything?

It was the green grip tape and angle of kicktail which reminded me of Conways offering.

It’s only more recently I became aware of Conways roots in surf board manufacture.

haut have been around for donkeys yrs,shame it doesnt have a matching pr of "baker sig" trucks though i think the pricing is rather optimistic though

A couple of years ago that deck would have possibly made that money especially if had the matching trucks, but 45rpm on Instagram did an officially approved but limited rerelease a while back which probably satisfied most people.

Pete Gifford was an awesome skater but I always Lusted after the earlier Haut rocker deck which was advertised with split grip job trackers and white bones, I wanted it so muck I bought a Pacer Catalina which was the next best thing and all you could get in the U.K.

Posting this here as I’m not sure it’s Benjy related , but as you flick through the photos of this ridiculously priced Gary Lee deck does the other 70’s board on the floor have Benjy boots on it possibly even a Benjy Lolipop or am I delusional

dont think so,those look to have a flatter face,boots are more tapered into the bearing area ,mad money indeed

I was tempted by those until I noticed that.

strange one indeed,ive had a couple of sets of lipcones but they were always conicals,those ones dont look wide enough though, if you machined a conical back the wheel would be very narrow,maybe they were a rollerskate version? belair made loads of rollerskate wheels but ive never seen any,good spot

Anything tasty on ebay everytime im in the mood for buying theres just overpriced crap on there
